    Electrical Mechanical Shop Foreman

    The electrical mechanical shop foreman will be responsible for:

    • Managing overall construction of equipment and systems at direction of project engineering.
    • Adhere to budget and time constraints. Work with project engineering on manpower and cost requirements.
    • Track costs, delivery dates, and manpower of assigned projects.
    • Manage time and schedules of up to 10 labor resources.
    • Manage time and schedules of contracted resources and equipment.
    • Procuring necessary parts and tracking delivery dates. Notify project engineering of delays.
    • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and controls issues with components and systems with assistance of project engineering.
    • Schedule loading and transportation of components.
    • Effectively communicating with other Breen personnel, both written and verbally. Review and markup drawings to as built.
    • Logging events and gather relevant data on electronic media.
    • Performing manual labor safely in a heavy industry environment, sometimes outdoors or at night in all weather conditions during installation and commissioning of equipment. Operate, maintain, and repair equipment at customer sites as necessary.
    • Complete electronic timesheet and expense reports on time.

    Job Qualifications:

    • Ability to conduct work safely in an industrial setting and supervise the safety compliance of direct reports and contractors.
    • Successful completion of a pre-employment aptitude test.
    • 5+ years experience as a foreman/supervisor of an industrial manufacturing facility.
    • Experience with electrical and mechanical equipment including pumps, compressors, pneumatic conveying, 480V and less electrical systems and components, electronic controls systems, pipe fitting, and welding.
    • Able to conduct troubleshooting of electrical, mechanical, and controls equipment.
    • Ability to work under deadlines to complete a project as necessary.
    • Provide regular project updates, schedule changes, design changes, workarounds and solutions.
    • Good physical condition and ability to lift and carry up to 70 lbs, climb stairs and ladders, don proper PPE.
    • Able to complete hands-on work including pipe fitting, bolting, electrical wiring.
    • Excellent work ethic demonstrated by a positive attitude and the ability to complete work on time.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong customer focus and ability to relate well to others.
    • Strong computer skills using Windows, MS Office, and email. Autocad experience a plus.
    • Able to travel in the US 10%-20% as necessary.
    • Valid driver’s license required.
    • Regular drugs screens and a thorough background check are required.

    Compensation Package:

    • Salary of $50K – $70K -based on experience and aptitude test results
